## Job Description
As an E-commerce Designer at Ask Phill, you'll create scalable e-commerce designs for our clients on the Shopify platform, working on diverse projects that will be implemented by our team of Developers and Consultants.

Working autonomously, you'll take full ownership of design projects from brief to delivery. You're comfortable making design decisions independently, managing stakeholder feedback, and collaborating closely with developers on technical feasibility. Your role includes translating client brand identities into converting e-commerce experiences that balance visual impact with industry best practices.

Job requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in UX/UI design for e-commerce projects
Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design work with implemented web projects
Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, user flows, and conversion-focused design
Experience on the agency side as a digital designer
Proven trackrecord in both UX and UI, with heaviness in UI design
Fluent in Figma with strict implementation of Auto Layout, Components, Variables and (Text) Styles
Understanding of component-based design and design- tokens/variables/systems
Strong in managing your own time and projects
Up to date with Creative Industry trends and tools
Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and approaches

Additional useful experience

Experience with Shopify (themes, apps, or design systems)
Motion design skills (Jitter, Spline, Rive or Lottielab)
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript
Understanding of accessibility standards
