ROLE_OVERVIEW
WooCommerce is seeking a highly driven and strategic individual to join our Strategic Partnerships team. In this role, you'll play a key part in identifying and developing high-impact partnerships that align with WooCommerce's long-term vision. Your work will help drive revenue, broaden our ecosystem, and create meaningful value for our merchants and partners.

—Support WooCommerce's leadership in developing and implementing a comprehensive Partner Program that is competitive and attractive to partners, and aligned with market and business needs.
—Identify and assess strategic partnerships that increase the adoption of Woo, generate revenue, and strengthen our product offering.
—Negotiate comprehensive agreements across multiple categories with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners.
—Establish, nurture, and mature relationships with existing and new key partners (Fortune 100 companies) to drive mutual growth and success.
—Monitor and optimize program performance, using analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the partner ecosystem.
—Design processes that enable the team to scale, from standardizing common deals to implementing reporting on metrics that track the progress against our goals.
—8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles within the ecommerce, SaaS, or fintech sectors.
—Experience in consumer, SMB, and mid-market business models, preferably with knowledge of advertising, social media, ecommerce, analytics, and Martech stacks.
—Experience working cross-functionally with legal, engineering, and marketing teams.
—Proven track record of building and scaling partnerships that drive revenue and customer value.
—Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex partnership agreements.
—Comfortable with ambiguity, open to feedback, and willing to challenge conventions while taking thoughtful risks.
—Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and investments is beneficial.
