Junior Shopify Developer

About the Role: We're looking for a Junior Shopify Developer to join our growing e-commerce team. You'll work on building and customizing modern Shopify storefronts using Liquid, React, and Shopify's latest technologies, including Hydrogen and Shopify Functions. This is a great opportunity for a developer with a solid frontend background to grow their expertise in Shopify and server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks while working on exciting international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts using Liquid and React

Build custom themes and extend existing ones based on design and project specifications

Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver seamless user experiences

Work with APIs (REST and GraphQL) to integrate external services and data

Optimize performance across desktop and mobile browsers

Troubleshoot and resolve frontend-related issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

1+ year of experience in frontend or full-stack development

Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React

Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles

Familiarity with Shopify platform and Liquid templating

Comfortable working with Git and basic CLI tools

English level B2 or higher (able to actively participate in meetings and write clear documentation)
